To search for a tape, enter a list of words or phrases in one or more fields. A phrase is one or more words enclosed in quotes (e.g. "A stitch in time").
Note that case is not used in your search. "BuSinESS" will give you the same result as "business". Moreover, you do not have to enter a complete word (e.g. Entering FF in the Call Number will find all the tapes whose Call Numbers start with FF).
If a word or phrase is essential to getting what you want, precede the word or phrase with a '+'. To exclude tapes containing a word or phrase, put a '-' in front of the word or phrase.
When you're ready to begin the search, click Find.
EXAMPLES:
- To find a specific title like "Gone with the Wind", enter '"Gone with the Wind"' in Title.
- To find a title that contains either the words "Gone" or "Wind", enter 'Gone Wind' in Title.
- To find all tapes starring both Jim Carrey and Ed Harris, enter '+"Jim Carrey" +"Ed Harris"' in Actors/Actresses.
- To find all tapes starring either Jim Carrey or Ed Harris, enter '"Jim Carrey" "Ed Harris"' in Actors/Actresses.
- To find all tapes copyrighted in 1937 or 1938, enter '1937 1938' in Copyright Years.
- To find all tapes whose description or subject contains economics, but not finance, enter '+economics -finance' in Description/Subject.
